Budle Hall is a family home and said to be one of Northumberland's loveliest small country houses. It is a listed Georgian house in its own grounds by Budle Bay with views over the bay and the Cheviots. It is only one mile from Bamburgh with its historic castle and renowned beaches, and a mere five minutes from the A1.
Budle Bay, a short walk from the house, is an
English Nature SSSI site famous for its waders, migrant birds, ducks and
geese. From the bay there are wonderful views of Lindisfarne (Holy Island)
which is only a short drive away.
Close to Budle Hall are the villages of Bamburgh, Belford and Seahouses, all with golf courses. Boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses are available throughout the summer.
Enthusiastic walkers will find many interesting routes such as St Cuthberts Way, and for a shorter stroll there are many beautiful coastal walks locally.
Ideally situated between the Scottish Borders and the historic market town of Alnwick with its famous castle, there are many fascinating day trips to be enjoyed.
